RASHMI METALIKS LIMITED is a later venture 4 years old company in the State of West Bengal for setting up steel plant and also take up trading of iron ore, coal and other mineral products. With this aim in view, Rashmi Metaliks has already set up a private railway siding at Barbil and its works ar Kharagpur for transportation.

Besides, trading, Rashmi Metaliks Ltd. exporting the minerals and mineral based product. The exports is mainly from the Eastern part of India. The company gets an extra edge from other exporters in regard to its own siding’s / logistics movements as well as its own production of Iron ore fines and long term tie-up with reputed mines.

The vision of the company is to set up an integrated steel plant to produce 2 million t.p.a. at Gokulpur in West Midnapore district of West Bengal. The Mini Blast Furnace of capacity 215m3 in the 1st phase of the company has already been completed and in operational. This will produce 2.00 lakh t.p.a. of hot metal. The company is in the process of capacity addition in backward/forward integration to achieve the ultimate capacity few of which is under commissioning like Sinter Plant, Captive Power Plant and balance is under construction and expected to be completed by 2008.
