Rashmi Group founded in 1966 really got impetus from its real promoter, a true visionary, Sri Sajjan Kumar Patwari. The group has grown from merely a re-rolling mill to a full fledged Cement Crushing Plant having capacity of 2 lakh tonnes per annum at Jhargram in West Bengal. In addition to this, the Group also have a Sponge Iron Plant with a capacity of 1.5 lakh t.p.a. at Jhargram and a Mini Blast Furnace Plant of 2 lakh t.p.a.at Kharagpur in West Bengal. Rashmi Group is presently in the process of capacity addition in backward/forward Integration to achieve the ultimate capacity of 2 million t.p.a at Kharagpur and 1.5 million t.p.a at Jhargram in West Bengal.
